At a glance
Sindalah was unveiled in 2022 as the first piece of NEOM to take physical shape: a private island in clear northern Red Sea water, close to some of the healthiest coral reefs in the region. It was designed around yachting, with a marina, a yacht club, a beach club, a golf course, boutique shopping and a collection of luxury hotels and residences.
The island now sits within the Islands of NEOM, NEOM's grouping of reefs, marine reserves and 41 islands. It is part of the NEOM project and the wider Saudi Vision 2030 giga-projects.

The principal facilities, with current status.
An 86-berth marina built to receive yachts of all sizes, the anchor of the island's yachting offer.
A members-style yacht club with dining and lounges overlooking the marina, the social heart of the island.
A collection of luxury hotels, villas and serviced apartments planned with leading international brands. Opening dates: To be confirmed.
An island golf course set along the water, part of the original masterplan.
Management of Sindalah is expected to pass to Red Sea Global, the developer behind the open resorts of The Red Sea and Amaala farther south. That would place the island alongside a proven operator of island resorts on the same coast; see our Red Sea Global project page.
For owners and charter guests, the northern Red Sea offers calm water, very little traffic and exceptional diving. Until Sindalah's public opening is confirmed, plan around the open marinas of the region; see Middle East marinas, superyacht charter and our Sindalah travel guide.
Sindalah's villas and apartments were conceived as resort residences. Sales arrangements and eligibility for foreign buyers have not been published. Our Saudi Arabia Luxury Real Estate and Premium Residency guide covers who can buy in the Kingdom today.
Its public opening date is To be confirmed. Check NEOM's official site for updates.
The marina has 86 berths.
Management is expected to pass to Red Sea Global, operator of The Red Sea and Amaala.
