Chauffeur Service in Dubai and Luxury Car Rental Across the Region

A chauffeur service in Dubai, Riyadh or Doha is the easiest way to travel in the Gulf, where cities are spread out and summer heat makes walking a short affair. For those who love to drive, luxury car rental and supercar hire are easy to arrange. Here is how it works, country by country.

Chauffeur or self-drive

Most luxury travelers in the Gulf use a chauffeur. Roads are excellent but fast, signs are in Arabic and English, and a good driver knows which hotel entrance to use and how to beat the traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road. Many five-star hotels keep their own fleets of Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series cars for guests, and Emirates and Etihad include chauffeur drive with first class and many business class tickets; see the best airlines.

Self-drive is a joy outside the cities: the coast road to Ras Al Khaimah, the mountain road up Jebel Jais, the desert drive to Liwa, the climb to Jebel Akhdar in Oman or a road trip through Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Supercar rental in Dubai is a world of its own, with Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Rolls-Royces available by the day.
