What Soudah Peaks is

The Asir is unlike anywhere else in Arabia: terraced mountainsides, juniper forests, baboons along the roads, and painted stone villages where the Al-Qatt Al-Asiri tradition of wall painting is recognized by UNESCO; see living heritage of the Middle East. Soudah Peaks sits at its summit, above the city of Abha.

The plan calls for luxury hotels and resorts, mountain chalets and residences, and attractions designed around six districts, each with its own character, from village heritage to high-altitude adventure, while keeping the landscape protected. It is part of Saudi Vision 2030.
