One of the most enjoyable things to do in Doha this week is on the water. Old Doha Port announced on October 31, 2026 that preparations are complete for the third Qatar Boat Show, from November 4 to 7, with superyachts, film nights, fireworks and floating cafés.

Qatar Boat Show
Doha's harbor is about to fill with yachts. Old Doha Port announced on October 31, 2026, through Qatar News Agency, that preparations are complete for the third Qatar Boat Show, which runs from November 4 to 7. The show brings together some of the world's leading yacht and boat builders and the region's top marine exhibitors, and it has grown since its last edition: participation from across the GCC is up 30 percent, and 70 percent of exhibitors are returning.
The setting is part of the pleasure. Old Doha Port, the historic harbor beside the Corniche, has been reimagined as a waterfront district of colorful buildings, cafés and promenades, with the skyline of West Bay across the water. For four days, visitors can walk the pontoons and step aboard everything from superyachts to fishing boats.

The show is designed for families and evening visitors as much as for buyers. Each night brings fireworks, drone displays and pyrotechnics over the harbor, with live music, luxury brand showcases and dining that includes floating cafés.
November is one of the best months for a Doha vacation, with warm days and comfortable evenings, and a visit to the show is easy to combine with the city's great sights. The Museum of Islamic Art and Souq Waqif are both a short walk or drive from the port, and our earlier piece on Fahad Bin Ali Palace describes a new heritage address in the city. Our guide to Doha's luxury hotels and things to do covers where to stay and what to see.

For yacht lovers
For anyone thinking of chartering or buying, a boat show is the easiest way to compare builders, layouts and finishes in a single afternoon, and to meet the brokers and charter companies of the Gulf. Our guide to superyacht charter in the Middle East explains how charters work in the region, and our guide to the region's marinas covers the best berths from Doha to Dubai and the Red Sea.
The show also opens a busy winter season in Qatar, and our Middle East events calendar lists the region's other highlights. Opening hours and tickets for the boat show are published by Old Doha Port.
